Supporters of Project New Ngoma are being encouraged to get behind an inspiring fundraising challenge as Buffy and Tom prepare to take on a mamoth sponsored run to help transform education opportunities for children in Zambia.
The pair are hoping to raise £5,000 through their challenge, with every donation helping support the continued development of the New Ngoma School Project.
How You Can Support Buffy and Tom
Buffy and Tom are running 5 marathons in 5 days from Somerset to St Melangell in Wales to raise funds for Project New Ngoma.
The campaign will help build three staff accommodation blocks at New Ngoma School near Kafue National Park in Zambia.
Supporters can donate via the official JustGiving page:
https://www.justgiving.com/page/buffyandtom
The team would love to reach their £5,000 fundraising target.
Supporting Education and Opportunity in Zambia
New Ngoma School currently serves 160 students with only three teachers, many of whom walk up to 10 miles each day to reach the school.
The new accommodation blocks will help attract more teachers and improve education for children in this remote community.
The school also supports local conservation education, helping protect elephants and wildlife around Kafue National Park.
Project New Ngoma operates with the support of The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF), with all funds ringfenced for the project.
Please Share and Support
The team would also be hugely grateful if supporters could share the fundraising page with friends, family, colleagues and anyone who may be interested in supporting the project.
Community fundraising and word of mouth support continue to play a vital role in helping Project New Ngoma make a lasting difference.
Thank you to Buffy and Tom for taking on this fantastic challenge and to everyone who continues to support the project so generously.
